Quick Introduction To Microsoft Teams Offering in Office 365

Microsoft Teams is a tool that is more focused for teams (as the name suggests) within organization. We can do the following with MS team

1. Chat (Video, Text and screen sharing)

2. Share Files (Excel, word, PPT, One note)

3. Schedule meeting and track the meeting

What is CHANNEL?

Channel is a way to organize team, you can create channel and do a specific conversation, file sharing around the same.

When you create a TEAM a default Channel gets’ created (General)

You can create your own channel but clicking CREATE MORE CHANNEL.

You can share FILE using TEAM (when you create a TEAM, a SharePoint TEAM sites gets created at the background and all your files resides in it)

You can also be consuming the following service within the TEAM:

You can track all your latest Activity and the meeting with in TEAM.

To enable/disable TEAM

You need to get into https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/Settings/ServicesAndAddIns

Select Microsoft Teams in it

You can restrict a lot from here; be it meeting, call and message.
